COLLABORATIONS

​I love working with other businesses to develop small-batch, custom products designed and made specifically to their needs. Here are a few examples of projects I have collaborated on with businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. All materials for these products are responsibly sourced and the products are made in the Bay Area.

FLACON BAGGIES  |  FLWR NAPA VALLEY

This is an ongoing collaboration of three creative women in the Napa Valley, spear-headed by perfumer, flower essence therapist and educator Jess Mennella , botanical dyer Michele Laurence and YOLOTLI.
The outcome is a custom-designed packaging that not only looks pretty with its natural flower print and contrasting quilted black linen but it also protects this precious flask and can be reused beyond the lifespan of the perfume. 

MIDCENTURY TABLE RUNNERS

This was definitely one of my favorite projects. I collaborated with my friend and interior designer Meredith Rebolledo, who was asked to style the Cottrell residency, an inspiring modular prefab home in St. Helena, CA, for the 2018 Kitchens in the Vineyards home tour.

I designed 3 unique Modern Century inspired table runners, made of deep blue indigo-dyed Cone denim, by applying the labor intense and ancient drawn-thread technique to create contemporary designs. Pulling the weave threads exposed the dark blue weft threads which created a strong and beautiful contrast to the back side of the denim. 

NIWA APRON  |  SHED HEALDSBURG

What a fun project to work with such an inspirational client! SHED had carried our Frieda and Minna Aprons for a few years and many of their customers had asked for an adult version. We sourced a special Japanese denim with a beautiful red selvedge edge and redesigned the apron's pocket into 3 gusseted compartments.
